To test AI-driven candidate sourcing, we designed an experiment. One group used AI assessment + voice evaluation and recommended two candidates with strong resumes. The other group relied on recommendations from a senior consultant, who put forward only one candidate.

The result was surprising: Both AI-recommended candidates performed poorly in first-round interviews and were rejected. The candidate recommended by the senior consultant moved directly into the interview process and was successfully placed.

Modern candidates want accurate job matches and a better process. Companies must provide more transparent and engaging hiring experiences to strengthen their employer brand.

BOSS Zhipin’s “Direct Chat” model shifts recruitment from “resume submission” to “instant interaction.” In 2024, it reached 53 million monthly active users (MAU), far surpassing competitors.
