  2. Caraga wage board OKs P35 hike for minimum earners

    • In Wage Order No. RXIII-18, which was motu proprio issued on Dec 5th, 2023, the daily minimum wages of workers in all sectors were increased to PHP385.00. The increase will be given in two tranches – firstly, the initial PHP20.00 will be effective on Jan 1st, 2024, while the second tranche, amounting to PHP15.00, will be given on May 1st, 2024.

  3. DOLE, labor groups laud 5K cash aid to ease burden of low-wage workers

Under Senate Bill (SB) 2534, all minimum wage earners in the private sector nationwide will receive a PHP 100 increase. This applies to both agricultural and non-agricultural workers.

    • The new PHP38 daily wage hike for minimum wage workers in Davao Region will start rolling out on March 6
