Describe your journey with Comrise, how did you know Comrise was the right fit for you?
Rick Cristiano: For me, it was an easy decision to join Comrise because the message was clear and concise from the start– combine that with the excellent culture and core values, and you’ve made a great first impression. In my role as Business Development Manager, I was fortunate enough to see early success with the support from the team and management. Throughout time, I have continued to grow and now I am privileged enough to be managing a group of other sales professionals.
You’ve recently been promoted to Sales Lead for Comrise, how would you describe this opportunity compared to your former role as Business Development Manager?
Rick Cristiano: A lot of my daily routine remains the same in that I am fostering relationships with clients while maintaining my own book of business. It’s important to lead by example and show others the path to success. This opportunity is all part of my personal and professional development with some added duties that take additional time management and training each week. There are things I am learning and now there are sales strategies and advice that I am passing on to others for their own growth.
What is a business development project you are most proud of and why?
Rick Cristiano: I was recently involved in leading a committee comprised of Account Executives and Recruiters tasked with creating new ways to grow the company’s book of business and acquire new clients. After collaboration and discussion, we were able to implement a strategy with actionable items where we are currently seeing positive results. It’s one thing to create success from an individual effort but when you can bring a team together to make an impact on the entire company, it’s very rewarding.
How do you plan on collaborating and personalizing the experience with Comrise customers for the new year?
Rick Cristiano: It’s easy to get excited when you enjoy what you do. I look forward to interfacing with my clients and meeting them onsite or virtually. We share ideas that craft life-changing impacts on people’s futures. This creates a feel-good atmosphere where everyone involved is reaping the rewards. They see the value we bring as an organization and the benefits of our team.
Share a recent client success story
Rick Cristiano: Our industry exists because there is a gap in the number of available jobs and qualified individuals who can perform certain duties. Then there are times where the search becomes so niche and it takes true headhunters to thoroughly source, screen, and get a candidate hired. We were recently in search of such an individual. The position was so high level that our client was having operational problems with this requisite being vacant. They turned to us because we had successfully filled other positions for them in the past that were also open for an extended timeframe. We put together a strategy and are happy to announce that we have a candidate starting next month for them in a very pivotal role!
What advice do you have for other professionals in the industry?
Rick Cristiano: To find success, you must be consistently keeping your foot on the gas pedal. Always make made sure that you are doing your job while putting in the additional effort along the way. In the long run, you see results because you are doing your job well and consistently collaborating with your peers.
